Welcome and Thank You
We appreciate your time and interest in helping us test the S.O.S. App, developed by EmanagA (Emergency Management Apps). This app was created to improve communication during emergencies—especially between people on-site and emergency responders.
The S.O.S. App allows two-way messaging during an evacuation. This means you can receive updates and share your location or condition, helping responders reach those who need help faster. While the app can’t prevent emergencies, it can help you make safer decisions and allow first responders to notify your loved ones.
If you run into trouble downloading, try uninstalling and reinstalling the app. Also, once you download the S.O.S. App, the One-Time Password (OTP) has been preset as 1 2 3 4. You can use this password to open the App. You will not be sent a verification code.
This is a test version, so you may notice some bugs or errors. That’s okay—we’re counting on your feedback to make the app better.
As Android and iPhones have different operating systems, we have prepared separate installation guides for both phone types below. Also, there are separate QR codes to take you to the Apple and Google Stores to download the App. All participants should make sure they agree to allow all Notifications and Location settings on their phone.
As the S.O.S. App is in testing mode, the download features are a bit complicated, especially for iPhone users. iPhone users will need to scan the Apple QR code twice. The first scan will allow the iPhone user to download Apple Test Flight. This program from Apple is needed to download the S.O.S. App, which will be available to download to iPhone users when you scan the Apple QR code. For a second time, to install Apple Test Flight on their mobile iPhone, users may also need their personal Apple ID number.
Another issue for iPhone users outside of our control is that during the S.O.S. App download, Apple will take the user away from the installation process to your iPhone Settings to Allow all Notifications. Once this is done, the Settings screen can be closed by
Doing so means you must return and reopen the S.O.S App icon. If the App locks, repeat the steps above to close the App and reopen the App again. This should unlock the App.
Thank you for taking part in testing our App. iPhone users should know that when the S.O.S. App is released, the App will load directly to iPhone users from the Apple Store.
Once you have finished testing the App, received alerts, and used the chat room, please go to the Survey Page to complete the App Test User Survey form.
Thank you again for supporting this important work.
Warm regards,
